Mission Statement - Equip students to live, learn, and grow in their faith, service, and calling through a Bachelor of Arts in Business framed by a Christian worldview with no student loans.
Oak Valley possesses singular mission is backed up by its resource allocation and focus on student success. Unlike most other colleges and universities in the United States, the College offers a singular degree program with limited student services. The College is dedicated to its academic program and serving students to achieve their academic success through that program. Outside of academics, the College offers limited, but engaging student services, primarily dedicated to furthering the College’s academic program mission.
The College holds that athletic programs, student residential life, and other major student life initiatives largely distract from the College’s academic mission and push up the costs of attendance.
Student success is, thus, defined by core standards, first-year retention (a strong correlation with student satisfaction), graduation, employment, and related metrics. IPEDS data, housed with the US Department of Education, tells Oak Valley’s student success story. In addition, the College is dedicated to continuous improvement, which is borne out by its biennial program review process, conducted in 2018, 2020, 2022, 2024, and 2026. Below is Oak Valley’s latest Report.
