Student Success
Mission Statement - Equip students to live, learn, and grow in their faith, service, and calling through a Bachelor of Arts in Business framed by a Christian worldview with no student loans.
Oak Valley singular mission emphasizes student success, and more specifically, the success of undergraduate business students, the only students Oak Valley serves. The Bachelor of Arts in Business is Oak Valley’s singular degree program. Outside of academics, the College offers engaging student services, primarily dedicated to supporting students’ academic success and career aspirations. Programs such as one-on-one mentoring, internships, and career services further support student success.
First-year student retention (a strong correlation with student satisfaction), graduation, employment, and related metrics are high when compared to peer institutions. IPEDS data, housed with the US Department of Education, tells Oak Valley’s student success story well.
In addition, the College is dedicated to continuous improvement, which is borne out by its biennial program review process, conducted in 2018, 2020, 2022, 2024, and 2026. Below is Oak Valley’s latest Program Review Report.
Finally, Oak Valley is a small community, providing direct access for students to all the services and programs students need to succeed. Professors, staff, and administrators are visible on campus. Every student is known by name, and every employee at Oak Valley is dedicated to frontline student support.
