Purpose 

Cultivate a Christian community where students pursue an accessible, affordable, high-quality bachelor’s degree in business.

Mission

Equip students to live, learn, and grow in their faith, service, and calling through a Bachelor of Arts in Business framed by a Christian worldview with no student loans.

Vision

Oak Valley will grow small Christian college communities in local churches throughout California predominantly serving first generation college students. The College will be strategic in pursuing opportunities to grow that align with its mission, vision, and values.

Values and Brand Promise

The Board, administration, faculty, and staff commit to:

  1. Student success - Set students up for academic, spiritual, professional, and personal success.

  2. Data-driven excellence and efficiency - Create, monitor, and enforce standards of excellence using SMART goals and analysis to ensure efficient, relevant, and cost-effective academic and student services..

  3. Accountability - Transparency, reporting, and accountability guides continuous improvement and ethical decision-making.

Upon completing the degree, Oak Valley graduates will:

  • Enter the professions with critical thinking, analytical, and creative problem solving skills.

  • Serve as mentors, servants, and teachers, as they experienced among the faculty, staff, and supporters at Oak Valley.

10 Guiding Principles
