Student Services

Oak Valley College provides a variety of services to support student success. Below are a list of services. For more information, contact info@oakvally.edu. Many services are also provided to graduates.

  • CEO Visits - Small groups of 5-6 students travel to local businesses to have lunch with CEOs. During the visit, students get to ask questions about how the CEO made it to the top of the organization.

  • Library services - ProQuest databases provided through LIRN.

  • Books on loan - Some textbooks and materials are available on loan.

  • Laptop - Emergency loaner laptops are available for students to use when they are replacing or upgrading their personal laptop

  • Microsoft Office, email, and wifi on campus

  • Counseling and mental health services are provided through a partnership with Emmaus Road Counseling Services.

  • Mentoring - A ten-month mentoring program is available to all students, typically, starting in the spring semester. Mentors are professionals with years of experience and guide students through a series of monthly materials.

  • Internship and career placement services - Provided by Tomorrow’s Talent, students are trained on how to prepare for internships or career placements. After completing a short training, students work with a coach to support their search.

  • Special needs - Accommodations are provided for students with documented disabilities.
